Text Message Policy
Effective date: October 30, 2026
About our text messages
Republic Loans of Texas, doing business as Republic Loans, sends text messages only to customers and applicants who have given us their mobile number and agreed to receive them. This policy explains what we send, how to stop messages and how to get help.
Your consent
By giving us your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts, whether on a form, by phone or in person, you consent under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) to receive text messages from Republic Loans at that number, including messages sent using an automated system. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of applying for or obtaining a loan or any other product or service. You can contact our offices by phone or in person without agreeing to texts.
What we may send
- Updates about your application, such as requests for documents or information
- Appointment and office visit reminders
- Payment reminders and account notices
- Responses to questions you ask us
- Service and customer care messages
Message frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your activity, such as the status of your application or loan.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.
How to opt out: STOP
You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply, you will not receive further texts unless you opt in again. You can also call either office or tell us in person. Opting out of texts does not affect your loan, and we may still contact you by phone about your account.
How to get help: HELP
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or call either office: (281) 443-3700 or (281) 516-1400. Se habla español.
Carriers
Wireless carriers and their affiliates are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier and device and cannot be guaranteed.
Keeping your number current
Please tell us if you change or give up your mobile number so that messages do not reach someone else. Only give us a number you own or are authorized to use. Do not text sensitive details such as your full Social Security number or bank login information.
Privacy of text messages
We use your number and message content as described in our Privacy Policy. Anyone with access to your phone can read messages, so please protect your device.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the current version.
